1 – Belem Tower
Belem Tower is considered one of the most popular places in Lisbon due to its rich history. Following orders from King Dom Manuel (1495-1521), this tower was built by the Tagus River to guard its entrance into Lisbon’s harbor. Belem Tower was built between 1514 and 1520 and features Manuelino architecture with masonry elements that go back to the Discoveries. 2 – Castelo de São Jorge
Castelo de São Jorge is located in the heart of Alfama Street, one of the most popular and characterful places in Lisbon. This castle is located above Lisbon, which means you can actually have a taste of the city from the top! You will be able to see key city monuments and take beautiful pictures with an amazing view in front of you.

Mosteiro dos Jerónimos is a former monastery of the Order of Saint Jerome and a notable work of Portuguese architecture from the 16th century. This masterpiece has been recognized as a national monument since 1907 and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1983. It was ordered by Manuel I in memory of Infante Dom Henrique of Portugal who, back in the 15th century, ordered a church to be built by the invocation of St. Mary of Belém.
