Monastery of Batalha

Monastery of Santa Maria of the victory or the Battle was a Dominican monastery. It is a Gothic/ Manuelino building started in 1386 and never completed the construction, which continued for two centuries. Celebrates the victory at the Battle of Aljubarrota.
