Évora

Évora

Évora is the Alentejo Capital where you can enjoy the impressive walls, the medieval buildings, palaces and convents. Évora is a populated region since the Neolithic. The Roman Temple – Templo de Diana is one of the greatest and preserved temples in the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most visible symbols of the roman occupation in the city.

A trip by car or van will also show you the São Francisco church with its curious Chapel of Bones, the old University and the handicraft shops. You can also taste some of the best wines of the country and enjoy many articles made by cork. The Trip continues to Sesimbra, Setúbal and Palmela. In these places, you can also go for a visit on a cellar to taste the local wines along with the local dishes.
