Discover Lisbon’s Miradouro da Graça with the latest Funicular!
The brand-new Graça Funicular in Lisbon is now open to the public after 15 years of work! You may now take in one of the best views of Lisbon from a more convenient and unique perspective thanks to the funicular that runs between the neighborhoods of Miradouro da Graça and Mouraria, or more specifically, Rua dos Lagares!
Users with the local navigator pass have free entry, and it’s open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Not only are tourists benefiting from this effort, but locals who have been waiting for this opportunity for several years are also greatly benefited.
However, the Graça area has previously witnessed a funicular. There was a functioning elevator connecting Rua da Palma and Graça 120 years ago, between 1893 and 1904.
